This table runner is just a taste of working with Celtic knots. It is best worked with two distinct fabrics but with analogous hues (such as blue and green) and similar values. The braid is machine appliqued to the background with a turn edge (NOT raw edge applique). With the techniques learned in class you can go on to creating larger works. A pattern for a bed size quilt will be in the student handout.
