Sew Fundamental-Jan & Feb 2017
Jan 9, 16, 20, Feb 6, 13, 20, 2017
Sew Fundamental is a series of “Learn to Sew” classes for novice sewers or “it’s been a long time” sewers. The first lesson is essential to your sewing success and includes an introduction to sewing terms, tools and techniques. You’ll get comfortable with threading your machine, make a Sewing Supply Tote and be ready to take any of BC’s beginning level classes. Each month thereafter, you’ll make a project from the book, S.E.W.: Sew Everything Workshop by Diana Rupp. Cecile Babich Morrow and Mary Furniss have planned six sessions for you that will include a pillow, apron, yoga pants, tokyo tie bag and naughty secretary skirt. Complete these classes and you will be ready to join Amy Butler and Friends Sewing Circle or work in the Sewing Lab.
