Lusciously layered! Dramatically dimensional! Fabulously fun! What else can you say about these dancing birds! Have you been wanting to try a wool project? Here’s one to brighten your space! In this class we’ll work on one bird block in Sue Spargo’s Bird Dance book. She’s known for layering her background AND her applique as well as wonderfully dimensional stitches. We will assume that you have done some basic embroidery, building on the Basic Stitches and Second Stitches classes. We’ll focus on some of Sue Spargo’s favorite stitches and the dimensional stitches in particular.
