Jane Sassaman Returns to  BERNINA Connection Jane Sassaman is an award winning quilt artist and fabric designer.  Her quilt "Willow" was named one of the One Hundred Best Quilts of the Century.  This year at International Quilt Festival in Houston, Jane received an award for her quilt, Illinois Album  Jane is the author of The Quilted Garden which encompasses twenty years of her work and the latest book, Patchwork Sassaman Style.  She is a gifted teacher who quietly and gently brings out the artist in her students. 

In a class for beginning machine appliance students or any quilter who wants to create an easy yet dramatic small quilt, you will choose one of Jane's central motifs and your favorite Sassaman fabric to make a dynamic 18"quilt.  Jane teaches a unique "bandage" appliqué method.  Once you learn this, you will have the confidence to use it again and again in your work.
