Color Theory Workshop-Fearless Fabric Selection with Ken Casey
If you are someone who has struggled with fabric selection for quilts, take this class. If you’ve looked at a quilt and thought “I’d have NEVER put that fabric in there, but it works!”, take this class. If you hesitate to use anything but blenders, take this class! We will share and experiment with fabric selection and hone your skills, thus improving your confidence. We will have a short discussion about basic color theory; then move right into fabric selection concepts; and finally move on to real fabric selection, hands-on practice exercises right here at BC. We will look at fabric selections in real quilts that have worked great (if you’re feeling brave, bring one that maybe didn’t work so great…) and we will discuss WHY. You will leave class with stronger confidence in your ability to choose fabrics for your quilts! Bring a notebook, camera/phone for taking pictures. You may also bring fabric selections that have been a challenge to coordinate. Click here to register online or call 602 553 8350
