Mixing Paper and Fabrics is a fun new way to create Fiber Art!
Learn how to paint a fun background on paper with Paper Collage Artist, Mimi Damrauer. We will be using paint with direct application and rubber stamps. Then, we will use Marcia Derse fabrics to create a simple abstract design that is machine-stitched onto the paper. We will do a little hand-stitching for decorative touches. Leave class with a completed 12x12 Fiber Artwork that you can frame or use in a larger artwork.
All you need to know is how to sew a straight stitch! Wear Art Clothes!!
