This is an open workshop for a variety of issues relating to garment making projects. For best results, students should notify the instructor 24hrs prior to starting the class of what projects they are bringing to class. Bring all supplies and equipment needed to work on your project. Garment Lab is a focused, open workshop designed for sewists who want help moving a garment project forward in a shorter, guided session. This lab is ideal for tackling specific challenges such as fit adjustments, hemming, pattern questions, construction trouble spots, or technique clarification.
Bring the garment project you’re currently working on and enjoy sewing in our well-equipped studio alongside others working on their own garments. An experienced instructor will be available to answer questions, demonstrate techniques, and help you troubleshoot issues as they arise.
For the best experience, please notify the instructor at least 24 hours prior to class with a brief description of the garment(s) you plan to work on. This allows time to prepare for any specialized tools or guidance you may need. Students should bring all supplies and equipment required for their project. If you’re unsure what to bring, please contact the instructor before class for clarification.
