CLASS: Fabric Collage Eureka Top Workshop 10-4pm

Create a unique summer top or jacket in this one day, 6 hour workshop for advanced beginners. Using a simple pattern such as the Eureka Top or London Shirt, or a tote or pillow. Students will explore collage and surface design techniques to build a cohesive, visually engaging fabric composition. The class emphasizes arranging fabric shapes into a balanced design using dyed fabrics, recycled scraps, embroidery, trims, and decorative threads. Participants will plan their layout, cut out the pattern for fit, and begin construction. It’s an ideal way to transform fabrics from the April Dye Camp into a wearable, artful garment.
